I was an IT consultant I was a Project Manager I was a woman

Instructors come from all walks of life and it doesn't matter, all our instructors have a passion for diving, one that has slowly developed from a weekend hobby or something that only happened on warm holidays or others who came to do the Open Water course fell in love (with diving) and never left the island.

It doesn't matter what you are doing now, imagine what you could doing in few weeks if you decide to go pro and become instructor - imagine your office is now a dive boat in the Gulf of Siam and your commute to work is stroll along the beach!

Travellers insurance http://forum.davyjoneslocker.asia/discussion/72/travellers-insurance Wed, 02 May 2012 20:51:21 -0600 DJL_team 72@/discussions In most cases a dive trip is just filled with the joys of travelling to a new place and seeing the underwater wonders they have to offer. But in the unlikely event that something goes wrong, we should have some insurance plan to protect ourselves. What should we look for in an insurance policy? Well, firstly, does it cover the kind of activities you plan on doing and to what extent. Some insurance companies will cover scuba diving to a certain depth, and only if you are accompanied . Does it cover lost gear? With airlines losing baggage , you want to know that your gear is covered by the policy so there are no tears when you get to your destination. Does it cover medical treatment ( for any type of illness or accident, not just diving)and is the coverage on a " pay and get reimbursed" basis or will the hospital bill the insurance company directly. This is important because medical treatment can be expensive and if you don't have the money in cash you could get a nasty fright when asked to pay a bill of 250000 baht and claim reimbursement later. Are there any other tips that you can provide to help others choose their travel insurance?
